Covenant Community Care Launches Centering Pregnancy at Moross Location to Expand Access to Prenatal Care

Covenant Community Care announces the launch of its Centering Pregnancy program at the Covenant Moross location as part of its ongoing commitment to meet the needs of patients and families in the community, regardless of their ability to pay.

The new program supports expectant mothers by combining prenatal care, education, and peer support in a welcoming group setting. Women receive care from Covenant’s providers while building connections with others who are navigating pregnancy at the same time, creating both medical support and a sense of community.

Centering Pregnancy, also offered at Covenant Michigan Avenue, is an evidence-based model shown to improve birth outcomes, including fewer preterm births and higher breastfeeding rates. By offering this program, Covenant continues to expand access to high-quality, compassionate maternal health care for Detroit families who may otherwise face barriers to consistent prenatal services.
