Covenant provides obstetrics & gynecology services to our community, specializing in primary care for women.
Prenatal Care
Our goal is to provide quality prenatal care to all mothers. We are always accepting new patients, regardless of insurance status. We offer pregnancy care at many Covenant Community Care sites, as well as Centering Pregnancy at our Michigan Ave. and Moross clinics.
Centering Pregnancy
Centering Pregnancy replaces traditional one-on-one visits with group visits and brings 8-12 women who are due at the same time, together for prenatal care. In a relaxed and fun setting, each group visit lasts about 2 hours and includes an individual health check-up, group discussion, and interactive activities designed to address important and timely health topics while leaving room to discuss what is important to the group.
Centering materials help moms and providers ensure that everything from nutrition, common discomforts, stress management, labor and delivery, breastfeeding, and infant care are covered in group.
Women enjoy Centering because it gives them more time with their providers as well as create friendships with other women that can last a lifetime. Centering Pregnancy is an evidence-based program that has proven to improve birth outcomes, including fewer pre-term births and higher breastfeeding rates.
