I earned my master’s degree from Oakland University in 2007. I have worked in a diverse community providing mental health counseling for nearly 20 years. I have worked at Covenant for nine years, providing integrated behavioral health counseling care in a primary care setting. I collaborate with patients and medical providers to support emotional well-being and whole-person health.
Using a brief, solution-focused approach, I help individuals overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief by identifying strengths, building coping skills, and creating practical steps toward meaningful change. I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier responses to stress and life challenges.
I also support medical providers through substance use counseling and MAT, with a focus on relapse prevention, motivation for change, and long-term recovery. My goal is to provide compassionate, effective care that empowers patients to achieve improved mental health and overall well-being.
