I
have been on several non-profit boards through the years. Being Board President for Covenant Community Care is both an awesome and a humbling privilege. Our biggest challenge (as a board) is to build adequate and consistent operational support to provide the breadth and depth of services that Our Lord desires we provide to the residents of Southwest Detroit and Wayne County, in His name.

I have served as Chairman and on several boards of Faith Covenant Church. Having grown up in Detroit, my heart remains committed to the city. I believe the mission of the clinic enables me to play a part in the means by which it can make a difference in the lives of the very needy Detroiters who are served by the clinic.

Rev. Bob Hoey
Position: Board Member
Residence: Detroit, MI
Occupation: Pastor of Messiah Church
Church: Messiah Church, Detroit, MI

I am the pastor of Messiah (Covenant) Church in Southwest Detroit where I live with my wife Evelyn and two children, John and Alana. I live next door to the clinic site and our church is just up the street. I grew up in Detroit and have been involved in several different Christian ministries in the area for more than 30 years. Evelyn leads a group that will open a K-6 elementary school in the neighborhood next fall. I am so thankful that through Covenant Community Care, the Gospel of Christ's love is offered to this community in word and deed.
